In light of some of the weirder hardcore I’ve posted/mentioned lately, such as Articles Of Faith, this is one of those albums where pretty much every song is mindblowing. I chose this one, ‘cause I really like the message - I feel like there are few songs that tell you NOT to burn the bridge (usually, it’s quite the contrary).

With that said, BURN NO BRIDGES TO STAY WARM!

I’ve based almost every song I’ve written in the last year on this band. Phenomenal and pretty underrated.

This is the year I feel I’ve really expanded my horizons and learned to appreciate a wealth of materials I never would have given a chance before. Expect many groveling posts gushing over beautiful vocalists in the not-too-distant future.

I got to see Fucked Up play an exclusively old set. They played through the Litany 7”, the No Pasaran stuff, Dance of Death 7”, Last Man Standing, and brought Chris Colohan on to cover XONOURKNEESx and Bleeding to Death by The Swarm.

A rad band form Mississauga, Ontario, that definitely don’t get the attention they deserve here (as can be said for a lot Ontario bands, I guess). Their guitar player that plays the solos and stuff makes me feel bad about my guitar-playing abilities.
